If your seeds don’t germinate, we want to make things right. ILGM stands behind the quality of our cannabis seeds, and our Germination Guarantee exists to support you when things don’t go as expected.

This article explains how the guarantee works, what evidence may be required, and how to request replacements.

What We Need to Verify Your Claim

To help us review your request efficiently, please provide the following:

1. Proof of Purchase

A valid order number or receipt is required to initiate any replacement request.

2. Evidence of Germination Failure

When:

  • More than 30% of the seeds from an order fail to germinate, or

  • You are requesting replacements for the second time or more

When evidence is needed, please include:

  • Photos or videos of the ungerminated seeds

  • The germination method used

  • The packing slip and order confirmation email clearly visible in the image

  • A clear view of your setup (paper towel, soil, or any ILGM-approved method)

Providing complete documentation helps us verify your claim and process replacements without delay.


How the Replacement Process Works

1. Submit Your Request

Use our contact form to send your claim and any required documentation.

2. Review

Our customer support team reviews your information to confirm eligibility.

3. Replacement Seeds Sent

If approved, we will ship replacement seeds to you at no additional cost.

  • You will receive the number of seeds that did not germinate, plus one extra as a courtesy for the inconvenience. 

  • Replacements will be the same strain unless that is not possible, in which case we will work with you to find a suitable alternative.

Follow ILGM Germination Instructions

These instructions are included by email with your order. Proper moisture, preparation, and environmental conditions are essential for successful germination.

Store Seeds Correctly

Seeds must be stored in a cool, dry, stable environment.
We cannot guarantee germination if:

  • Seeds were stored for longer than 12 months, or

  • Seeds were exposed to extreme heat, cold, or humidity

We aim to make our germination policy clear, fair, and supportive. If you ever need help during germination or have questions about eligibility, our support team is always available.
